Requirements to Stay
Our goal is to make this process as easy as possible and we look forward to getting to know you and our guest, your dog, better!
Age
Guests must be at least 6 months of age or older.
Guests 7 months or older must be spayed or neutered.
Initial Consultation
Verification of paperwork, vaccinations, health, and history with our guest’s parent.
Our guests will join a team member in an evaluation room to observe how they react when their parent is absent.
We will also assess the guest’s comfort level in a kennel or suite in case of future needs.
Vaccinations
The following vaccinations are required and must be certified by your veterinarian:
- Rabies
- DHPP
- Bordetella
- Canine Influenza
Vaccinations must be given by a veterinarian at least 48 hours before boarding and daycare.
Guests must be free of any condition that could potentially jeopardize other guests including fleas and ticks. Guests that have been ill with a communicable condition in the last 30 days will require a veterinarian certification of health to be admitted.
Agressiveness Assessment
All guests must be non-aggressive and have not shown any aggressive or threatening behavior toward any person or dog. The safety and health of all of our guests is our top priority.
During the consultation, we will test guests’ sensitivity to touch to ensure their comfort with our team members.
We will bring a few additional dogs into the evaluation area to observe how they interact and assess their comfort in an open-play environment.
